Pastor Rick Smith
Senior Pastor
Pastor Rick is an ordained bishop in the Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee. He has studied both at East Coast Bible College and the Pentecostal Theological Seminary, and has served as pastor and various other ministerial positions for more than 30 years. Pastor Rick resides in Windber, and has five adult children and Eight beautiful grandchildren.
Jonathan Smith
Worship Director & Young Adults Director
Jonathan graduated from Lee University with a B.M. in Music and Worship. He is currently a staff songwriter for Daywind Music Publishing in Nashville, TN, where he has had the opportunity to write with some of the most prolific writers in the Christian music industry. Jonathan also enjoys playing sports, spending time outdoors, and finding new coffee shops when he is traveling. Jonathan resides in Johnstown.
Matthew Perez
Youth Director
Matthew Perez was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. His favorite hobbies are going to the gym and being outdoors. He is passionate about community and relationships and really enjoys spending time with people; whether that's sitting around a table
with food, going to a sports game, doing an activity or running around with students. He resides in Windber.
Crystal Rowles
LifeKidz Director & Church Secretary
Crystal has served as the church secretary since 2004, she has served on the children's ministry team for 10 years before stepping into the role of Children's Director in 2013. She has a passion to see children grow in Christ at a young age! Crystal is married to Gary Rowles, director of New Day Student Ministries in Windber. Gary and Crystal both love getting to go out and find those good deals when shopping! They have two adult children, and two beautiful granddaughters. They reside in Windber.
Taylor Barron
Communications Coordinator
Taylor Barron is a mom of two precious children and is married to Colin Barron. If she's not at church, you can find her at the volleyball court, going to the Que, or spending time at home with her family. She loves meeting new people and is passionate about community. Her and her husband live in Westmont.
